MONTCLAIR, NJ (March 19, 2024) — Tinkercast has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024. Coming in second in the Small and Mighty category, Tinkercast, the audio-first children’s media company, is among those companies with fewer than 50 employees that are “reshaping industries and culture.”

Since its founding in 2017 by renowned podcasters Guy Raz and Mindy Thomas, and former PBS Kids Sprout and Sesame Workshop Leader Meredith Halpern-Ranzer, Tinkercast has been inspiring kids and their grownups to connect with the world around them and become the tinkerers and thinkers that shape tomorrow– proving that a company doesn’t need to be large to have an outside impact.

Said Tinkercast CEO Halpern-Ranzer: “Over the last few years, our small and mighty team has grown from a team of 4 to a team of 21 of the most innovative, hilarious, passionate people out there. We have become a shining example of what innovation can look like at a fully remote company. Today, we are standing tall as we share this ‘Most Innovative Companies’ distinction from Fast Company with our exceptional team of Tinkerers, collaborators, and partners as well as our incredible families of Wowzers who are the WHY behind the WOW!’

Together, this “Small and Mighty” team of Tinkerers has had some stunning achievements, including:
