Recipe: Popcorn Balls

These popcorn balls are great for an afterschool snack, a party or any occasion. Loved by kids and adults alike!



  1. Grab a grownup to help you warm the butter in a sauce pan on the stove.
  2. When the butter is melted, stir in the sugar, corn syrup and salt and bring it to a simmer.
  3. Keep the mixture simmering while continuously stirring for two minutes.
  4. Carefully pour the mixture over a bowl of popped popcorn. Mix it up so that every kernel is coated.
  5. As the popcorn cools, spray your hands with cooking spray to keep the popcorn from sticking to them. Then shape the popcorn into large balls.
  6. Let the popcorn balls cool, and enjoy!
