Craft: Handprint Turkey

This simple to follow wow-to will show you how to make an adorable turkey handprint craft.

Materials:

• Craft paint (brown, orange & yellow)
• 2-3 paintbrushes
• Markers
• Googly eyes & glue (optional)

Wow-to:

Step 1: Starting with a paintbrush and some brown paint, paint the palm of your non-dominant hand (the one not holding the paintbrush), and then the thumb. Be sure to use plenty of paint since it will start to dry if you’re not somewhat quick.

Step 2: Now using orange or yellow or a combo of both, paint your pointer finger, middle finger, ring finger and pinky in any combination that looks good to you. The paint on your fingers will become your turkey’s feathers!

Step 3: Bring your painted hand over to a piece of paper, spread out your fingers a littl and then gently press your hand down onto the paper.

Step 4: Use your clean hand to stabilize the paper and gently lift your painted hand off the page.

Step 5: Let the turkey handprint dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 6: Use markers and googly eyes to give your turkey some personality. Be sure to add a beak, a gobble, eyes and legs!
