Craft: DIY Up-Cycled Cat Toys

Cats really don’t need fancy things to entertain themselves. In fact, most of them prefer to play with the things they find around the house. These easy to make, DIY cat toys are pure purrr-fection!

Materials:

• Sharp pencil
• Empty toilet paper (or paper towel) roll
• Plastic straws
• Glue gun with hot glue

Wow-To:

Step 1: Using a sharp pencil, poke a bunch of holes into a toilet paper or paper towel roll. Make sure the pencil goes through to the other side making two holes per poke.

Step 2: Push the straws into the holes. Put the straws in straight, up, or down to make it interesting.

Step 3: To make sure the straws don’t fall out, you can hot glue them at the points where they go through the empty toilet paper roll.
Step 4: Find a cat to share the toy with!
