Convo Starters: A Tasty Looking Moon and Sharing Caring Chimpanzees

  1. In this episode, we learned that chimps have the unique ability to be altruistic, as in acting in a way that benefits another at their own expense. Think of a time where you’ve acted altruistically. A time where you’ve done something kind or helpful for someone else, even if it was a cost to you.  Think about how you felt and how it might have made the other person feel.
  2. In this episode, we learned that NASA’s Cassini probe was able to capture close up images of Pan, Saturn’s empanada-like moon!  It makes us wonder what scientists will discover next! Imagine that you are a NASA’s youngest kid scientist on a summer camp space mission.  Write a letter home to your grownups about your amazing (made-up) discovery!
